A Testimony of God’s Divine Protection

On Sunday afternoon, the 15th of March, something remarkable happened in our church—a clear and undeniable sign that God is watching over us.

A large tree branch fell in the parking area where several vehicles were stationed. Astonishingly, it landed precisely in the narrow space between the cars without touching a single one. No person was harmed, and not even a scratch was found on any vehicle. This incident stands as a powerful testimony that we are not alone—the hand of the Almighty God is upon us, and His protection is real.

The Events of That Day

My Sundays typically begin early. I usually arrive at church around 5:00 AM. Our first service runs from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM, followed by the children’s service from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Our second service then continues from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM. This has been our consistent weekly schedule.

On that particular Sunday, I briefly stepped out to attend to some ministry matters. When I returned, I was met with an unusual sight—a large tree branch had fallen directly between my wife’s car and the vehicle parked in front of it.

The cars had been parked under a group of trees, as we normally do each Sunday for shade and comfort. However, I noticed that my wife’s car had been moved slightly backward. That small adjustment made all the difference—it is what prevented any damage.

Curious, I asked what had happened.

I was informed that one of the pastors had felt a strong prompting in his spirit to move the car slightly backward to create space. In obedience, he adjusted the vehicle.

Shortly after the service ended—while everyone was still inside the church and no one was outside—a large branch fell from one of the trees. It landed exactly in the space that had been created between the cars.

Had the car not been moved, there would have been significant damage. Even more concerning, if people had been outside at that moment, injuries could have occurred.

But God, in His divine wisdom, orchestrated everything perfectly:

The car was moved at the right time.

The branch fell at the right moment.

No one was outside.

No vehicle was touched.

What we witnessed was nothing short of supernatural protection.

Three Biblical Habits That Strengthen Our Walk in Divine Protection

There are three biblical habits that have shaped our walk as a church in divine protection:

1. We Declare Psalm 91 Daily

Every morning, we boldly declare Psalm 91, affirming that we dwell in the secret place of the Most High and abide under the shadow of the Almighty. We proclaim that with long life He will satisfy us and show us His salvation.

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” — Psalm 91:1
“No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling.” — Psalm 91:10

We believe that the promises of Psalm 91 apply to everyone who is in Christ Jesus. Through our daily confession, we align ourselves with God’s Word and position ourselves under His covering.

2. We Speak the Protection in the Blood of Jesus

We continually declare the power of the blood of Jesus over our lives, our families, our children, and everything concerning us. The blood of Jesus is not merely symbolic—it carries divine authority and speaks on our behalf.

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.” — Revelation 12:11
“…to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.” — Hebrews 12:24

As we travel, at home, and in all that we do, we proclaim the covering of the blood of Jesus as our shield and protection.

“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.” — Ephesians 1:7

3. We Partake of Holy Communion in Faith

We regularly partake of Holy Communion with understanding and faith, recognizing it as a declaration of the finished work of Christ on the cross.

Through Communion, we proclaim:

That Jesus has already won the victory.

That by His stripes we are healed.

That as He is, so are we in this world.

“For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes.” — 1 Corinthians 11:26
“By whose stripes you were healed.” — 1 Peter 2:24
“As He is, so are we in this world.” — 1 John 4:17

Communion is not a ritual—it is a powerful spiritual act. As we partake, we proclaim (the same concept used in preaching the Gospel) the finished work of Christ, looking back to the cross and forward to His second coming.

We believe that Holy Communion enforces divine health, protection, and victory in both the spiritual and natural realms.

Conclusion and Prayer

This testimony is a powerful reminder that God protects His people. Even when something had to fall, God ensured that no harm came near us.

“The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them.” — Psalm 34:7

I pray for you today:

That no harm will come near you.

That you will experience God’s supernatural protection.

That you will daily declare Psalm 91.

That you will boldly speak the protection of the blood of Jesus over your life and family.

That you will partake of Holy Communion in faith, enforcing the finished work of the cross in your life.

“The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore.” — Psalm 121:8

May the Lord bless you and keep you.

  1. This is indeed a miracle. I remember being called out frantically to the parking lot and the scenes in front of me were shocking and when I got to the cars I was in awe of what God did….. This big branch was lying between the two cars, the space between the car and the stem was a few centimeters. Indeed we serve a living God who is faithful and merciful.
